Note: This approval has been extended by one year. This approval shall become null and void one year after the date of this extension unless the use is commenced, construction is under way, or a valid building permit is issued and construction commenced within six months of the issuance of said building permit. The supplementary condition was met. This condition was “The plans currently under review include some changes from what was approved by the Plan Commission. The applicant shall obtain approval from the zoning administrator that the changes described below can be approved as a minor alteration as stated in the approval letter of November 20, 2007. If it is determined these changes cannot be approved in this manner, the applicant may need to have these changes approved by the Plan Commission. The applicant describes these changes as follows: a) Extend the time to finish the house addition. The footprint and elevations remain the same as on the original application. b) The siding for the garage will be cement board siding, with a dimension to match the existing house siding. The brick trim will be eliminated. c)add a dormer to the west side of the proposed garage roof. It will not add to the footprint or elevation of the garage. The profile will be similar to the existing south façade, adding continuity between the house and garage. d) Garage construction to begin December, 2008, with anticipated full completion in May, 2009, depending on weather. The zoning administrator is currently determining whether these changes can be considered "minor" alterations. Planning staff understand this includes consultation with district alder and neighborhood association.”
