Note:
Supplementary Condition Completed (was The Applicant shall submit, prior to plan sign-off, a digital CAD file (single file) to the Engineering Program Specialist in the Engineering Division (Lori Zenchenko). The digital CAD file shall be to scale and represent final construction. The single CAD file submittal can be either AutoCAD (dwg) Version 2001 or older, MicroStation (dgn) Version J or older, or Universal (dxf) format and contain the only the following data, each on a separate layer name/level number: a) Building Footprints; b) Internal Walkway Areas; c) Internal Site Parking Areas; d) Other Miscellaneous Impervious Areas (i.e. gravel, crushed stone, bituminous/asphalt, concrete, etc.); e) Right-of-Way lines (public and private); f) All Underlying Lot lines or parcel lines if unplatted; g) Lot numbers or the words “unplatted”; h) Lot/Plat dimensions; i) Street names. All other levels (contours, elevations, etc) are not to be included with this file submittal. NOTE: Email file transmissions preferred Lzenchenko@cityofmadison.com . Include the site address in the subject line of this transmittal. Any changes or additions to the location of the building, sidewalks, parking/pavement during construction will require a new CAD file.)

Traffic Engineering
Redraft required:
The applicant shall modify the site plans as follows; show the dimensions for proposed and existing parking stalls’ items A, B, C, D, E, F, and degree of angle parking width and backing up, according to Figures II "Medium and Large Vehicles" parking design standards in Section 10.08(6)(b) 2. The applicant shall redesign the modified parking area at the ingress/egress approaches as follows; the applicant shall remove 6- parking space at the approaches. These vehicles create conflict for ingressing /egressing movements from the public street. In addition, the applicant shall modify the turning area at the end of 90 degree parking rows item “F” from 13 ft 6 in to a min. of 20 ft per design standards.

The 3 accessible stalls at the south end of the parking lot do not meet code requirements. Contact Jenny Kirchgatter at 266-4429 for options to meet accessibility requirements.

Submit a landscape plan which is legible. Parts of the plan that was submitted are not legible.
Supplementary material required:
Provide additional details of the surface materials of the landscaped areas (ie. mulch, ground cover, sod, etc.). Planting islands shall consist of at least 75% vegetative cover, including trees, shrubs, ground cover, and/or grass. Up to 25% of the island surface may be brick pavers, mulch or other non-vegetative cover.
Supplementary material required:
Submit details of the bike rack model and bike parking area. A bike parking space is a minimum of 2 feet by 6 feet with a 5 foot wide access aisle. The bike rack must accomodate a U-shaped locking device and be securely anchored to the ground or the building to prevent the rack from being removed from the location.
Supplementary material required:
Show the handicap accessible signs at the head of the accessible stalls. There should be a minimum of 48 inches between the bottom of the sign and the ground.
