Fire

Note: Provide a minimum unobstructed width of 26-feet for at least 20-feet on each side of the fire hydrant. The new proposed hydrant at the end of the new pavement is not code compliant and is not of use behind the landscaping. There are other hydrants located within code compliant distance. This hydrant is not required but shall be maintained with a min of 5 feet clearance from all landscaping. Also note that the plans indicate the two other driveways as fire alleys. These were not approved as fire access and will not be enforced as such. The note on the past approval was to remove this note. The fire access is off the street. These are not code compliant access. The existing hydrants were not approved in these locations, as they would get covered with snow during removal and are not located on approved access these shall be maintained at all times clear a min of 5 feet including landscaping.
